Q. How does it work if I decide to sell the Natural Breastfeeding digital program to my clients?
When you buy the Professional Package, you decide whether to give your clients access to the program at no charge or to charge a fee for access to the program.
If you decide to charge for the program, how you collect the fee is entirely up to you. Natural Breastfeeding has no involvement in these transactions, and you keep all income.
Once you collect the fee, you can send your client a special link, which we will provide you as part of the Professional Package. This link will give your clients access to the Natural Breastfeeding digital program, where they will create their own log-in and password.
Q. How much can I charge for the Natural Breastfeeding digital program?
If you decide to charge for access to the program, how much you charge is up to you. Some professionals will use the program as an add-on to their current service and others will charge for the program as a standalone product.
NaturalBreastfeeding.com currently sells the program for $97 so we suggest anything up to that price point. The price you choose will depend on your business plan and strategy. For example, here are the numbers for $10, $20, $40 price points:
$10 x 50 clients = $500
$20 x 50 clients = $1,000
$40 x 50 clients = $2,000
Q. If I do not renew with the Professional Package when my year is up, will my clients lose access to the Natural Breastfeeding digital program?
No. Once you have added a client via your Professional Package, they are added into our system as a lifetime member. If you do not renew your Professional Package then all of your clients will still have access to the Natural Breastfeeding digital program.
Q. Will I receive continuing education credits for the video education for providers included in the Professional Package?
No. The professional package does not provide CERPs, nurses’ or dietitians’ contact hours, or other credits.
Q. When I buy the Professional Package, what licensing rights am I granted?
With your purchase of the Professional Package and as long as your membership is current, you receive the rights to download the images and videos and use them in their original form without alteration for any and all educational purposes. This includes incorporating them into your own PowerPoint presentations for classes, staff in-services, and professional trainings. It also confers the right to download them to your handheld devices for use as teaching tools when you work one-on-one with breastfeeding families. These images and videos, however, may not be resold for profit.
Q. What if I teach hospital classes or work on the mother-baby unit? Am I still eligible to use the teaching tools in the Professional Package and provide the Natural Breastfeeding digital program to my clients?
Yes.
Q. May I alter the images and videos included in the Professional Package?
No. These images and videos must be used in their original form.
Q. What if I want access to an image or video that is not currently included in the Professional Package?
If you see one of our images or videos in the Natural Breastfeeding digital program or elsewhere that you would like to use, please let us know. We have selected the images and videos we think will be most useful to you, but our intention is to expand the number of teaching tools available to you in the months and years ahead. We want your feedback and will take it seriously.
Q. What changes in the Professional Package can we expect in the future?
Our goal is to provide a package that includes the technology and tools today’s families prefer. It’s not enough to provide accurate, reliable breastfeeding information. Millennial parents want their informational sources to incorporate the formats they are most comfortable using. That’s why providing your clients with access to a digital breastfeeding preparation program is likely to draw more young families to your practice.
We expect the cost of the Professional Package to increase as we add more teaching tools. But as long as you do not let your package lapse, we guarantee that you will never pay more than $129 per year.
